Daemons.

They're the laziest army in the game. They have tablewide shooting, regardless of line of sight or range, completely reliant on invulnerable saves, so a wide range of weapons are rendered obsolete, or at best, not worth their points, army-wide deepstriking, so deployment is of negligible concern. Games against conventional daemons lists consist of trying to volume-of-fire down the army while hoping the other guy doesn't roll too many 6s during the Warp Storm, and then dying when they get into assault. Maneuver doesn't matter, cover doesn't matter, even assault doesn't matter, as they're hands down one of the, if not the best assault army, and the only kind of wargear you want is things with lots of shots.

People talk about Eldar or Tau breaking the ruleset through prodigious amount of ignores cover and the like, Daemons simultaneous invalidate cover, armour, maneuver and assault. That's a pretty impressive trackrun. If they run screamerstar, they basically invalidate the game. Eldar and Tau are tough, but the armies look good (I don't like the daemon model aesthetic, for the most part, Bloodletters are neat, that's about it for me), and you beat them by playing smart, and hitting the right targets with the right weapons at the right time. You get games which are challenging, but not completely one sided (with exceptions; marines are garbage against Eldar, for instance, due to army-wide awesome AP weapons), against Daemons, you win or lose based on how many basic shooting attacks you get, and how well he rolls on some random charts and invlun saves.

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

No skill armies made with netlisting skills at the extreme.

Screamerstar, Seerstar, Spam lists....

...just about most things that decide the only important thing to do is win despite how fluff destroying or unfun it is to play or play against.

Some Tomb World in some galaxy by that one thing in that one place (or Minnesota for nosy people)

anything with a rerollable 2++ used to be what annoyed me the most but now with D weapons it has to be tau castles

I'd have to go with everyone else and just say the helldrake. That thing should never have been released.

But it's the only good thing in my codex!

And is less op than a riptide or the vendetta or any D weaponry...

Tau give me Robotech flashbacks. Eldar are not so much fun to play against.

But I will play and at least try to have fun against anything, except spam lists a second time.

I used to find the Dark Eldar really annoying to play against. That is why I started them myself

Also; anything that includes more than one riptide or heldrake is extremely annoying to play against.

What army annoys you the most when you see it? is it just cheesy? all third party models/proxies? really lame fluff? ugly/no paint? or just boring to play against?

The thing that annoys me most is the opponent who pulls out an army's worth of tactical marine models with bolters and then proceeds to list out "This marine that looks like all the others has a melta gun" and "this marine that looks like all the others has a missile launcher", etc., etc. I will say, no thanks and find another opponent. Not my job to try and keep track of what your models are nor get into arguments because I *have* been keeping track and the opponent starts trying to cheat as to which model actually had the special/heavy weapon.

Otherwise I really don't care. Legal army, WYSIWYG. That is all I need...even legal army is negotiable if my opponent and I make other arrangements.
