So dare I ask what happens if he farts? Could it blow the seals on the lower portion of his armor? Or is a space marine's system immune to such mundane fluctuations of bodily conduct?

No one should be complaining about this codex. It gave regular Eldar a much needed buff by allowing us to drop Fire Dragons and D-Scythe Wraithguard wherever we want, without scatter. Without this, I almost lost a game once. It was scary. I almost took to buying fixed dice to ensure it never happened again.

Kurze and the Lion have not been mentioned yet... or I may have missed it. They are basically stuck in a cat and mouse game out in space now, with Kurze terrorizing the Lion's command ship.

The Night Haunter remains!

Most public one was Pert and Dorn, both of whom hated each other.

As for Guilli... eh, I didn't like him much at first, but he wasn't so bad in the book. I'm somewhat blanking, but I thought he ended up beating Khor in the end there.

There are some relationships that were strained at best, it's hard to put one above the other

Alpharius and Guilliman according to their IA article, although this was different in Legion and Alphy doesn't seem to have any ill will against Guilliman. Although we don' t know if this is before or after Tesstra Prime.

Perturabo and Dorn, Dorn and Curze.

Russ and the Lion after Dulan

Russ and Magnus

Lorgar and Guilliman after Monarchia and the Emperors rebuke mentioned in Collected Visions where he basically told him to be like Guilliman.

Some Primarchs weren't liked by anyone

And then Fulgrim killed Guilliman, completing the circle of life.... Fulgrim - killing chumps since 30,000AD.

Have you read the HH books? Gulliman and Sanguinius are the only genuinely pleasant individuals in the setting, and Fulgrim is entirely loathsome. I am still at a loss to understand the logic behind the Guilliman hate on dakka, why was he a chump exactly?

Does Vulkan even exist in the HH? (He seems like he would be a pleasant guy)

Yeah he was a good guy as well, except he has featured in the fluff heaps less than the rest of them.

Spoiler:
He just caught it up in the last book (Unremembered Empire) but it is strongly hinted he will be back as soon as the blade gets removed from his chest because the guy who does the deed channels all of his life into him, plus, he clearly will be back, because it says in the SM Codex that he personally asked Gulliman to let the Salamanders remain unbroken after the death of the Big E. So he obviously shows up again before Horus gets blasted to ash.

The only drawback of the HH seems to be that they are removing all of the ambiguity, Curze was really interesting to me 2 years back, he was complex and misunderstood and you almost felt sorry for him, same goes for some of the others, Logar for instance, but now, well.. Curze is basically evil personified like a Hollywood villain, Lorgar is entirely detestable, same goes for Angron, while Gulliman and Sanguinius are like, ultra nice, humble, honorable Mary Sue type good-guys.

The Lion is still pretty interesting I suppose, because he comes across as pretty awesome as well, but has acted like a prize dick in the past so at least a little ambiguity remains, but I definitely feel that fleshing out the fluff has come at a cost, to me it almost feel like since I read all the HH books, it went from being super interesting, to basically being about as predictable as a Jason Statham movie.

What's weird about the Horus Heresy book series is that a lot of the minor characters or just non-primarchs are well written and interesting. So we know they're completely capable of writing good characters, yet everyone seems eager to line up and take their turn to throw a wrench at a primarch. It's disappointing as well considering that it could have been well done- there just needs to be more control over what's written and time spent developing the primarchs before the heresy. Dan started out well with Horus Rising, then False Gods Galaxy in Flames comes in and throws it all out the window.
