Yes, you still need to field legal squads. Also, you would still need 4 non-vehicle/beast models anyway for specialists and leader.

So how does Kill Teams work with Quantum sheilding. The entry in the codex is 11 all around, which is within the AV limit. However the rule boosts it 4 over the limit. I was really surprised not to see anything about it in the exceptions. Though I guess it does not matter, as the ghost ark has too many hull points, and the other quantum shielding is in heavy support and HQ.
