It's a totally subjective term, but anyone under 21 could easily be considered a "kid".

It's something entirely subjective, and will differ from person to person. I've even been known to call people older then me (29) a kid, because of their behavior and the like.

Pretty much anyone around 22 or younger will be a 'kid' to me, especially if they are acting the part. Course, that doesn't mean anything negative as far as playing a game goes.

I don't think you can really call someone a child if they're over 18 and have moved out of their family home to fend for themselves.

Everyone under the age of 18 is 12, this is proven fact.*
*If you are shrike you will always be 12.
And yes, I would consider calling anyone up to 18 a kid. Then again, I also hate adults.

I know plenty of people quite a bit younger than myself , some just barely into their 20's, who I feel know more about life than I ever will.

I'm 45. If I'm old enough to be their dad, they are, to me, a 'kid'.
It's not a negative thing, but the chances of me having anything outside of this hobby in common with them is slim at best. I probably won't like their musical choices or taste in movies, either.
I shrug when the 30 year olds in my club say stuff and go "kids today, humpf!" (it's my role as grumpy oldperson).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
