I'd say so. Though, obviously a much lesser charge than the "new gf" as I said earlier, there should be some investigation as to HOW the photos of her ended up on the boy's phone. If they were transmitted, then she's guilty. If they weren't, then they could probably get away with doing nothing.

Well, society usually has no interest in punishing minors for "exploring their sexuality" in absence of exploitative behaviour, and would indeed come into conflict with basic personal freedoms in doing so. Both the girl who took these pictures of herself and the boy seem to fall under this category.

The second girl, who made these pictures available to a group of third parties, clearly had malicious intent and was exploiting the nature of these pictures. Those are sufficient grounds for prosecution.

Maybe the people who wrote those laws were hoping that two more years of no (anal) sex makes everybody choose not to be gay?

"I really want to have the gay sex, but I don't want to wait until I'm 18. Maybe I'll just be straight instead and have vaginal sex right now!"
