Wall of Death isn't a shooting attack so it doesn't matter if it snap shots or not. It is a rule given to units that are charged that have template weapons.

The Deathleaper entry does not say only shooting attacks that target him have to be snapshots, it states: Enemy models can only fire Snap Shots when TARGETING Deathleaper. You are still targeting him in overwatch and therefore would not be able to use WoD as it is not a Snap Shot.

Wall of death most certainly is a shooting attack. It is a special type of shooting attack but it is a shooting attack and the wounds caused by it go into the shooting wounds pool and are assigned as with any other shooting attack and it targets a unit just like any other shooting attack.

Currently RAW you cannot wall of death the Leaper.

However im in the party that thinks its just another badly written rule and it is intended that flamers can still WoD him if he charges.


It makes no sense thematically or balance-wise why a flamer wouldnt be able to be sprayed wildly his direction as he charged.
