Pretty sure it isn't Heavy.

Just checked Dark Angels, and nope, Land Raiders aren't Heavy vehicles.

They are light vehicles?

Oh, ok.

As far as the rules are concerned, yes. Assuming by Light, you are meaning a catch all for Not-Heavy.

Land Raider is "heavy".
I don't have rulebook, but look at "heavy" description in vehicle types, There should be something like "Vehicle can move only 6" and can shoot all weapons at full BS".

Actually i had a game on tuesday when this came up and i tougth it was heavy, we checked up in the SM codex page 103 and 177.
Its only stated as a veichle(tank, transport) so not heavy.
Wich iwas kinda suprised about due its size xD

Oh indeed your right, its about 10 pages on but i found that entry. Thanks.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
To above - I was just checking my Inquisition codex and in Land Raiders are listed as Transports and Tanks, nothing on heavy.

Which seems a bit off since i can't think of many things more "heavier" than a Land Raider.

Another question:

Can I put IG guards into Inquisitorial Land Raiders? Inquisition list is not alies but part of primary detach, yes?

It states "An Inquisitorial Attachment is a special kind of Allied detachment", I think they behave exactly as if you could have 2 allied detachments except for the force organization chart, just 1 Required HQ and 1 Optional, 3 Optional Elite slots (warbands only). Land Raiders are all dedicated transports. I don't really know basically but if you can figure it out from that info.

Oh and there BB with all the usual (guards)

And even battle brothers can't go inside allied transport, right?

Afraid not , I think if an Inquisitor found some dirty unkempt guardsmen muddying up his prestigious Land Raider they would be made to dissapear shortly after.
