Maybe they got confused by Finecast.
They release a shoddy set of [Finecast models], and their usual remedy to shoddy releases is to FAQ it.
But, since they couldn't, they got stuck in a loop, and now apply that policy to everything.

So, blame Finecast that there are no new FAQs.
