That's possible... the unions and democrats tried really hard to recall him.

And Walker not only won the recall, but won it with an increased majority over his original election.

Stupid democracts... I should be hired by the DNC to meet with every Democrat running for office, and every campaign manager, so I can stand an inch from their face and shout 'don't run a campaign on union issues you fething idiots'.

I could do the same thing for Republicans, except I'd yell 'don't mention abortion you fething idiots, and if you're asked about it say "we acknowledge the conflict of rights with a woman's body, but believe the sanctity of life to be more important." '

I believe I would make a lot of money. But I would have to live in Washington, and that is one boring ass government town.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.

Yeah... that's very impressive.

However, I really don't buy his viability as a candidate. Simply because I'm not sure if he has that "name recognition" and that he's squishy on immigration policy that doesn't play well during the primaries.

Word.

Double-word. Charge the (R)s for a gak ton for your services.

Commute... the surrounding areas is great.

I've never heard him speak, so I don't know if he's personally impressive.

Half of the people that get mentioned around this time aren't real candidates. Most of it is just idle chatter because political junkies have to talk about something, and the rest is just testing the political waters - throwing names out and seeing what about those people pleases and upsets the gatekeepers and the electorate. So Walker might get positive feedback on his hard line on budgets, while his immigration record might not register at all... and that would tell the kingmakers that budgets are important this time around while immigration isn't.

But most likely it's just people talking and throwing up names for the sake of it.

True. When we were in Washington we day-tripped it out to Gettysburg for the tour, and the towns and countryside through there were beautiful.
