I have very rarely conceded - usually as others say, time pressures.

I have twice had opponents ask if i wanted to concede before the game began. Both 5th, both my no vehciles, terminator and dreadknight list Grey Knights. Both against other GKs.

First was a kill points game, 5 game of a tournament, and he assumed his psyback and psyriflemen (5 of the buggers at 1750) spam would be enough. I declined, sacrificed 5 kill points (mordrak, 2 DK, libby, vindicare) to kill about 9 (his DCAs forgot they would swing last going through terrain, he forgot I had S10 hammers against his psyriflemen, and forgot that I will happily multi assault 3 razorbacks) while keeping my 2 5 man termie units around his zone, before getting ahead and pulling bacik. He wasnt mobile enough to then catch my terminators. Win.

Second time was indy GT in 5th, against paladin star. That I had pretty much no hope on, however gambled by having him a tempting assault target with his main star unit (libby, draigo, 10 termies) - using clever positioning along his board edge I massively limited his attacks, he rolled poorly (my only hope) and won combat by 3. Sadly he passed his Ld7 check - failure would have been instant off the board death for close on 1k points.
