OK I checked the ZiX and Tergite have not been sculpted yet they couldn't get the sculptor he's booked elsewhere but they could still offer them as stretch goals and get them sculpted later (The sculptor could do both of them in a week) so I've encouraged Chris to do this as I think they will be popular and not just for sci-fi we'll see what happens make some noise in the comments!

That would be great! I've been hesitating on pledging as the levels tend to ramp up to the sweet spot in value, but there's not enough of the ones I'm interested in to allocate it towards.
Thanks for passing on the feedback I really, really like those sci-fi sculpts of the bugs/creatures.

New stuff next 3 stretch goals - stretch goal 3 wasn't planned Impact! have the rights to produce the mini so they figured they'd put it in - it was literally decided about an hour ago. It's been slotted in between the $8,300 goal and $9,700 there would have been no $9,000 goal otherwise.
STRETCH GOAL #3 - $9,000 - Wagons Ho!
Okay so we were told that this KickStarter is already a complete mash-up so we are adding in an unscheduled extra miniature stretch goal. At $9,000 we'll unlock the Type 2 Wagon Pony team. Why not add in some Old West to the genre mash-up. The wagon and pony are 30mm scale.
STRETCH GOAL #4 - $9,700 - New miniature to add to the list
Vote in the linked poll below. The winner between the TYPE 2 Tsathoggua vs the TYPE 1 Animated Armor will be added to the list of available miniatures that we will have created. Tsathoggua is the whisperer in the darkness controlling the formless spawn The Animated Armor is from the Class Horror genre as no haunted castle is complete without the armor suit that suddenly comes to life.
STRETCH GOAL #5 - $10,000 - Free Picks
When we reach $10,000, we add on additional free picks to several reward levels.
ELDER will get 1 extra pick to have 23 in total
ANCIENT ONE will get 2 extra picks to have 36 in total
GREAT OLD ONE will get 3 extra picks to have 49 in total
H.P. CREATOR will get 4 extra picks to have 62 in total

You got me Dave, I backed this . I also hope the Tsathoggua wins the poll, it's a very close one right now!
I wish they would post the detailed views that you are posting here on the campaign page, or make an easy place to find them (on their webpage or something). I posted that in the comments... really apreciate your posting more detailed views here

1) Yes we have contacted the sculptor and asked him to do the Tergite based on the DakkaDakka feedback. So it should be in one of the polls soon as soon as we have confirmation from the sculptor that it is going to turn out acceptable for us.
2) Rynack ... better image ... best I can do (and I hope you can see this) is show you the turntable video of the figure from Shapeways as the sculptor that did this figure did not give us high-res images of it. https://www.shapeways.com/model/1684214/rynack-stl.html (click on the turntable view and then grab the figure in the turntable and turn it around to see the figure from the front).
3) The poll is interesting. Chris is voting for the Tsathoggua ... I'm voting for the Animated Armor ... so even the folks at Impact! are split.
The sculptor of the Rynack did not send them a turntable video he also did the light armour infantry I found the turntables Tom didn't even have them!
The digital sculptors are very busy since doing Impacts! Stuff they have gone on to work for Mantic, SPM and Heroquest (although MK Ultra quit some of sculptors are working on it privately freelance)

Is the sculptor who they contacted about the Tergite one of the digital sculptors (MK Ultra? quite impressed with those guys lately!). I hope so, as the digital sculpts look quite appealing to me.
Thanks for the quick reply and nice to see the creator quick on the draw, too

It will more than likely be Juan from MK Ultra who has done most of the digital sculpts but not all he's the one Chris likes to get to work on Impacts! stuff. That's dependant on his schedule he's a busy man these days.
EDIT: Chris has referred it to Andrew who does most of the physical sculpts the ones in grey he did the Gug as a comparable piece. I've no issues with Andrew doing it he's really got the hang of the Chibi style now IMO. It needs to done in 3 pieces so have to figure it out.
Creator Impact! Miniatures 6 minutes ago
I'm not a fan of fiddly sculpts so I've asked Andrew to give me feedback on how he would do the Tergite. What I don't want is a five piece mini. If we make some modifications, we might be able to do 3 pieces, which I could possibly live with. We'll see what he comes back with.

I shall patiently wait to see what Yig turns out like.
Hoping for something more snake-like than what Fenris did with Cthulhu Wars. Not to knock the Yig sculpt they produced, but I was seriously hoping for something more traditional I guess- maybe with a more serpentine head?
I'm afraid all the Type 2s are going to continue to get out- voted in the polls. I think we need to see some more type 1s vs type 1s.
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
The Yig is type 2 it reuses the lower body of the original KS cobra with a new torso it has a crested snakes head think styracosaurus type crest but with a snakes features it has 2 arms but no legs (your probably picturing something different than I 'm trying to describe now)

I think Tom and Chris have been convinced to do a drop bear there might even be a chance of an alternate head for small furry aliens from a galaxy far far away.
The Animated Armour won the last round and is now available.
the bonus picks at $10,000 stretch goal has also been achieved
next up Round 4 of the head to head (to head in this case)
STRETCH GOAL #6 - $11,000 - New miniature to add to the list
Vote in the linked poll below. The winner between the TYPE 2 Yig vs the TYPE 1 Cultist vs the TYPE 1 Giant Octopus will be added to the list of available miniatures that we will have created. Yig is the giant serpent Elder God. The Cultist represents a member of Innsmouth converted from exposure to the forces of the Old Ones. The Giant Octopus is a fun sculpt by Nick Kelsch in case you need some different octopi monsters to be working with Cthulhu and the Cultists.
was I close on description of the Yig did anyone picture that? The cultist is the current sculpt with new arms as the old ones are tiny and fiddly.
So does something which gets lots of votes but loses, like the Tsathoggua, come back later? Although I'm glad they're doing all new models with each poll for the most part.

STRETCH GOAL #6 - $12,300 - New miniature to add to the list
Vote in the linked poll below. The winner in the poll fight between TYPE 1 Frankie (36mm scale for him) vs TYPE 1 Nightgaunt vs TYPE 1 Gen'Dari will be added to the list of available miniatures that we will have created. This is the first poll fight that has a representative from each of the 3 genres of the KickStarter so since all 3 are Type 1 this fight ... we look forward to seeing how the contest goes.
Frank is a type 1 rescale of the type 2 Flesh Golem as it's been asked for a few times.

Someone took my horse out the back and shot it before the race even started, poor Frankie I changed to my vote to Gen'Dari and even he's still losing - that's what I like about these polls you can change your vote. The Cthulhu Mythos stuff seems to be the most popular which is to be expected I guess.

Polls are up to Tom and Chris I have no prior knowledge of what they are going to put up next I like to be surprised a bit during a kickstarter, I wasn't even aware that Tom had convert a Nightguant it's a good use of the original Gargoyle figure it's not for me but others seem to like it, one less mini to use my points on the last few type 2s have been eating up my points fairly quickly.

I had no idea what a Nightgaunt was and had to google it. I thought the Nightgaunt with no face was a WIP... apparently it has no face.

Yep, they fly and clutch and tickle, and that is all they do. They're horrifying.
But where is the barbed tail? Can't have a Nightgaunt without a tail...
Sure, I'd pick him regardless, but if there is no tail I'll be mighty disappointed.

Yeah Gymnogyps ... definitely one of H.P. more terror inducing creatures. They are definitely more minion material than terror of the night.
Nick ... i would definitely not show a WIP figure. I spent a lot of time on this guy looking at the reference photos and trying to make sure I got it right and making sure it would be a one piece figure which makes my life easier. I spend most of the hours of my day anymore packing up the pieces of multi-part minis I get from Trollforged (as they do not separate the pieces in the mould ... all for a mini comes in one big bag ... so one piece minis are nice).
To answer Gymnogyps's question .. yes it does have the barbed tail.

We keep trying to learn from each KickStarter we do on what works and what is not working. Glad to hear this style is a fun one for the backers.
To answer another question ... at this time we have enough new figures for 2 more stretch goal polls .... after that we move into stretch goals were we'll do 3 way fights with the losers of the previous polls.
Still in the list of new stuff we have:
TYPE 1 Cthulhu
TYPE 1 Horror
TYPE 2 Horror
TYPE 1 Space
TYPE 2 Space
We have 2 more figures that we are willing to have sculpted ... but given that we lost money on both the Dungeon Chibi and Asian Chibi projects ... we are trying to make sure that this project at least breaks even so we have not yet pulled the trigger to have those made. It would add another TYPE 1 Cthulhu and TYPE 1 Space to the list.
