You get only one defensive wargear, and that is the rosarius, which strangely is not automatically included. Then, you only have weapons. No jump pack, no bike, no armor, no saga, no marks, no nothing. There is a few Relics, but we are also the only codex that cannot give two relics to one character.

I like the SCs how they are. They include cool fluff and allow you to play the dudes you like. Of course they have stuff normal dudes can't get. If any regular joe chaos lord could have a daemon sword, the talon of horus, and be blessed by all 4 chaos gods then the imperium would be in trouble. On the other hand, if you like their rules but don't want the name, just change the name and make your own cool converted hq. Its your hobby, do whatever you want!
