Agreed. From a visual and auditory perspective, the Spitfire is possibly the greatest thing humanity has ever produced. Looks perfect, sounds perfect. Only beaten when you have a Hawker Hurricane and Avro Lancaster in the same flypast.

Totally agree! I love my punk rock and metal, but sometime I want to relax, and hear some Texas Flood. I had a roommate that actually had a live recording of SRV and Eric Clapton just playing blues guitar, and it was amazing.
That Le Mans video reminds me... the epic Ferrari and Ford cars of the mid 1960s, and the recent run of Audi starting with the R10, on up to now the R15... never knew a diesel could sound so sexy
And since we're on cars again, I just absolutely love the sound an Aston Martin makes
