I wouldn't be as annoyed with e-releases if they weren't so terribly formatted. It's way more difficult than it should be to find things in the digital editions.
Yeah, I make extensive use of ctrl+F, but occasionally words are actually images so ctrl+f won't find them.

I spent a LOT of time reformatting my digital Tyranid codex in MS Word and re-exporting it as a PDF, I should probably go back through and add links and page references throughout it.

Only thing that bothers me about the e-releases is how they go about stealth editing stuff. The books you get through I-tunes appearaently have had updates that clear up some major rules issues, while the e-reader versions haven't been updated the same, and GW STILL refuses to release FAQ's for the major codices.

Other thing that bothers me is that the formatting on the e-books seems like it was never done. It literally looks like someone just copy-pasted form microsoft word. In fact, I think you -could- just about copy-paste the whole thing into word. If you're going to charge 30 USD for an e-book, even for game rules, it better be well formatted, easy to read, logically paced, and with intuitive digital headers. They have none of these.

I actually sent GW the most frequently asked question I knew recently: "when are we getting the next FAQ update?"

Of course they haven't answered it.

The iBooks version isn't too bad to flip through once you get used to pulling up the Table of Contents to make flipping between sections and pages faster, but I have no idea how to go through the ePub version any quicker to be honest.
