By the time Pask is getting shot his 2 buddies are dead so unless that is the only unit they've shot at I'm in trouble anyway. Though PotMS is interesting but it is points I just don't have to spare
For 1500 drop 2 Executioners and sponson MMs from command and you're at 1500 with 8 Russes. Or you could drop down to 7 and get a few extra bits.
S10 and S9 ordnance isn't that bad VS tanks. Also I would drop 1 tank and take an agies defense line and another vet squad, reserve the vets and the tanks collect a 4+ cover save, I think it would help a bit more.
Yes S10&9 ordnance is good against tanks. But manticores and balisks will not be taken by good players also an Aegis would not be of use against them nor likely against DSing melta which is more of a concern. Plus I then don't have 10 Russes
