The Limited Ammunition special rule outright says you can only fire one per shooting phase.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

The rockets are not two separate weapons except for when resolving weapon destroyed results. Is this a weapon destroyed result? No? Then it is one weapon.,

What about a first turn deathstrike? Or any other turn for that matter.

POTMS lets you fire one more weapon than normal.

Deathstrike restricts when you can fire.

Basic vs Advanced, page 7:

When advanced rules apply to a specific model, they always override any contradicting basic rules.

I'm pretty sure this applies to the Deathstrike.

You could probably use that reasoning against all uses of POTMS though.

Not to mention that POTMS is an 'advanced' rule. Most of the Special Rules in that section make exception to the basic rules in some way.

I think a more clear argument against is that you would be able to fire the DS missile at full BS, but would still have to use the DS weapon special rules (can't fire first turn, etc).
