Any chance for larger sets of this being produced? Like 2x2 feet matts or even 12x12 inch ones?

Would be useful for setting up 3d dungeons and not having them move (much better and lighter than the magnet solution I was planning).

Also, possibility for different designs? Again, cavern floor themed or even just black with a white inch grid on it!

Hi Azazelx, Its not really a case of ignoring you bud - just been uber busy - The product must have the brand and design name on the front as its going to go to various whole sellers (possibly) and various shops (likely) and they will need to be able to see what the item is called when they handle it

if it doesn't have the design name on then it causes all sorts of problems.

putting a sticker on a bag assumes that there will be a bag - we have not decided this yet so we cant say yes to that.

the truth is that the logo was always going to be on the top of the sticker - and we decided in the end to ADD more squares to the sticker by making the logo less thin & wide and more chunky (ie square grid shaped) - this gets you guys more sticker squares than we were initially going to be able to offer per kit.

so its a really good thing in the end!

If you want it to be retailed its a terrible idea not to put it into some kind of packaging that means there is no protection for your product, no way to hang the product up, no information or description of the product and no barcode for the product. Putting your logo on something thats supposed to be scenic (As I am assuming it is due to the battlefield images) isn't the best way to sell it. It means someone either has to keep your logo and it looks bad ior they are wasted squared. Just becuse you always were going to do it this way doesn't make it a good idea.

No way to hang th eprduct is a BIG one. As a former FLGS employee, that's absolutely KEY to a product: How will I display it when it's new, and where would I put it if I wanted to keep it as a stocked item after it's no longer new? You need packaging, buddy. Needs to be convenient for the shops to stock near either the WHFB accessories or generic miniature gaming tools and accessories.

As a gamer, I'd never put that on my table with a logo showing. I never did and never will buy the Sabol gaming mats because of the visible logo, I never did and never will buy the Frontline Gaming playmats because of the visible logo, I'll never buy your product because of the visible logo. Some people don't care one bit (and a few have already posted in this thread), but some won't ever buy it with the logo showing on the final "show" side of the product, and I am one of them. If you have a way to mark the packaging or the backing instead of the shown area, awesome! Otherwise, this product is dead to me in the " *sigh, it could have been SO GREAT!" line of regrets

...... is no protection for your product, .

this product isnt going to shops at the moment - so there is no packaging - its for kickstarter pledgers only.

It may go to shops in the future (we have already had 3 requests) but that's not an issue just yet.

about the logo not going on tables - the point is that the grid kit makes loads of trays, not a single tray with a logo on it - if you see the pics below you can see what im on about

So, basically... what it seems to come down to is that you want your logo on the front because you want your logo there. The rest is all contradictory circular because reasons stuff.

Not trying to be harsh but you are making no sense there.m

You literally said the logo is there in case it goes to stores and then said you might not try to put them in stores so you don't need to consider packaging.

Either you can't make up your mind and have don't seem to have a clear direction for your product or are just making up whatever comes to mind in order to justify your choices after you make them.

Either way it doesn't build confidence.

Interesting idea, and I wish you luck with it. I do disagree with your claim that magnets don't work however. I did a tutorial on my steel trays below. Works a treat. Not sure where you get the idea the magnets don't work.
