Wow... thanks guys. Work continues slowly on the weapons teams. I now have 1complete, 1nearing completion and one ready for painting. The reason for my slowness is that I'm converting these guys as I go, so as soon as I have an idea I have to stop what I'm doing and start a new model.

Anyway on to the models. The missile launcher team was easiest as it required minimal re-posing. The heavy bolter team was a little more difficult, as I had to sculpt a new neck and elbow on the gunner to get the pose I wanted.

Managed to get some work done on my minotaur bulgryn bonehead today. I wasnt happy wit the armour I built, so I started again from scratch. Another snag I hit is the size of the slabshields they look tiny in conparison to the minotaur models. I might have to build new ones from plasticard.

The armour still needs work of course, but im pretty happy with how his head turned out.

Finally I made some pregress with this guy. I valiantly gave up on sculpting the whole armour piece myself as I realised I dont have the ability yet. Lol. Anyway heres my progress so far. He doesnt have weapons or feet yet as I want to get the armour right first.

And an end of evening update. The primer is so I can see what needs doing easier.

Damn, that looks like one nasty dude. Love the kitbashing, especially the bionic eye.

Great stuff on here really great Iron Warrior Renegade force have to admit I feel that Catachan parts might combine in better. The Bullgryn is excellent.

Cheers dudes. I thought I'd start painting him today. There's some small issues I'll have to sort as I go along, but thats another story. Lol.

Tonights evening update. The shield is a temporary piece, which will be replaced with custom built shields. I'm pretty happy with how the armour worked out although I now need to replicate it for the other two. I also need to do something with the horns to make them stand out more.

Plus a sneak peek at the new ork vehicle scheme for my stepsons army. Opinions please.

Update time. Mostly building and converting this week. My three lascannon teams are done, complete with temporary heads. My chaos marauder/imperial guard mashup squad are built and my chaos cultist guard squad are awaiting weapons, and my minotaur bullgryns just need shields and rear armour. Next on the agenda is more tanks and autocannon heavy weapons squads.


Anyway. Onto the pictures. Lol.
