Have you looked for more of the JoyRide Studios stuff like the Legionnaire? I've got a few of them and think they work great with the Macross stuff. The Jupiter is a bit big, but it is a sexy enough beast that I don't mind.

I've looked for them, but they fetch a pretty penny these days. Since the game only gets played in 28mm a couple times a year I'm trying to do this on the cheap. I'm shooting for an average of $10 per mech and no more than $20.

As for looking right, they definitely do. I mix and match mechs pretty freely as long as they have a somewhat BT-ish asthetic. Right now the collection includes Macross, Mechwarrior, Gasraki, Kryomek and Robogear (with modifications).
