There is/was a small format hardcover rules sold separately for 6th. I forget how long after the DV set released it took for GW to offer it. But I do know the order was Big Book, Starter, Small Rulebook.

I know I’m not picking up the new 7th big book set. The fact that it is in 3 parts is a major, tempting plus. But not quite enough to convince me. Dragging the 6th tome around was too much. I’m waiting for something small this time around.

Cheap, pre bookmarked rules only pdf would be best option for me. Lacking that... I'm still getting a bookmarked pdf - format shifting being legal in Australia and all. If I didn't go digital, I'd go for as compact a rulebook as possible - the DV one was good. If I want fluff, I'd like to buy fluff. If I want modeling info, I'd like to buy modeling info. I don't want them bundled.
