Agreed on all points. The Stormraven is the same way, if you end up doing one of those.

Thank you guys. The fin is now fixed and I took new pics. I had an issue with them, as they would display a broken link in my post for a while. It works ( for me ) now though, can you fellas see the picture?

They are showing correctly. Are you going to re-weather the tail, or leave as is?

If you mean the fin, it already was painted like the rest of the model, I just flipped it around horizontally. So now the battledamage/weathering is also flipped around ( but it's mostly random, so no "directional" approach there aside from the metallic chinks. I'm probably gonna do a few of those to the edge. ) Not sure I understand lol. Anyways, other than that it's gonna stay as it is.

Mostly just the silver streaks, as they seemed backwards to the rest of the model.

Very quickly after finishing my Librarian, I came to realize I will probably never wield him on foot. Alas, I sawed him in half and cut off his arm ( don´t worry he is fine, both are a common practice among Dark Angels, especially during interrogations. )

After that I mounted him on a bike, gave him a biker arm and sculpted some flapping loincloth from Greenstuff on his waist. I also added a "Powerfield Generator" made from Centurion and Heavyflamer -bits. Here he is:

And here is everybody so far:

Painting all this took me less time in hours than painting my NMM LR:C for the Blood Drinkers... and that my friends, is depressing in a good way.

Possibly a dumb ass question but what would you recommend for thinning polyurethane varnish?? Really loving your work, would be thrilled to reach this standard when I paint up my DV sets in the next few weeks!

Thanks in advance!

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of the women.

Thanks mate. Not a dumb question at all. Usually the can inwhich the polyurethane varnish ( or woodstain I guess, don´t take this for granted as english isn´t my spoken language ) has information on what is used to thin it down. In the case of Liberon Bistrot it´s white spirit. It can be thinned down 20%, but I just thinned it 10%. Have fun with your DV models, despite being monoposers they are quite nicely detailed and dynamic!

Thank you! I think I might even add something to the bases still, I was maybe thinking a touch of autumn flock. But that´s in the "someday" category. Gotta finish the rest of the army first.
