I have seen the power of 24 firewarriors buffed by an ethereal and 12 of them by a fireblade though. That is just scary, but most armies will just shoot it from a distance. Pfft even my orks just shoot it from a distance, i faced it once and i just lobba/kannon'd them to death while the rest of my army scooted around the 30" bubble of no-no-zone.

Only "24 firewarriors"? I normally get about 30 firewarriors, 16-20 GDs and 3 Sniper Drones for 2 or 3 turns. It really really puts a hurt on infiltrating lists.

i say 24 because thats what was left lol he HAD 48 to begin with. Dont care what people say, firewarriors in THAT big a number start to fall off in effectiveness pretty fast. The fact he even got 24" to do the rapid fire + 1 + 1 trick was a bit surprising.

"+1 +1"? If I did not play the particular creeping advance I use, I would not get the 2 rounds of heavy fire that I do. I also run such large numbers because i am going to loose a lot pretty quick. HH, infiltrating stealth suits and fire support battlesuits are critical for keeping the weight of fire off long enough for the FW and drones to get full benefit from the storm of Fire. Started playing large FW blob because I lacked markerlights and figured I need the volume of fir to make up for it. Not missed the Marklights at all.
