For me, they haven't been writing GOOD codex so much as writing less godawful ones.

The supplements for some reason seem to be better. Probably so that you buy the codex, roll your eyes, read the supplement and buy that to use instead.

7th as a system is OK, though i'm not overfond of the shonky WHFB magic system they grafted on.

TBH i kindof stopped caring that deeply about 40K some time back. I still play, but not as often as i used to.

Maybe the DE release will draw me back in. I had hoped for the Ork codex to do so, but it didn't really cater to my tastes much. The ghazzy supplement did better in this regard, so i'm still playing..

A haemonculus supplement with all sorts of Coven goodies might dig me out of my lethargy, perhaps...

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

Echoing the above: balance looks better but they've taken a bad turn in other areas as mentioned. Gorramit GW how hard is it.

I think we have to wait and see what happens to necrons and DE. Blood angels... eh, Marines havent been top dogs since 5th edition rhino rush died.

Just Blood Angels? Or Marines in general? Because Codex: Space Marines have a good amount of obnoxious stuff IMO.

8th Edtion: 9405 pts - Varantekh Dynasty
