i dont have my book on me atm but for something like 175 points you get 5 Legion of the damned

LotD have a 3++, ignore cover, can re-roll scatter cause they have to DS also have Slow and Purposeful so can fire the heavy.
the sarge can take a combie
a marnie gets a special
a marnie gets a heavy

if you take plasma you get 4 AP 2 shots assuming good scatter.
your heavy can be either be more AP2 with a plasma cannon or lots of shots with a HB.
and then 2 more biloters

So assuming average rolls you should hit with 3 PG shots 3 bolter and 2 HB or 1 PC blast (wounds vary) or MM shot.
your wounding on 3s and 2s
so averaging 3 wounds no saves and 3 bolter shots which will probably save.
(this is not excat math but about acurate if some one REALLY!!!! wants to be a math genius go for it)
so that takes out a good chunk of reapers, leaves a tough unit inside of enemy Deployment zone.

and like i said before. easy conversion. heck you could just base coat some of your marines black and be good to go. other wise a little white for skulls and red for fire and your good to go.

I think that I will start off with a Tac Pod Turn 1 to at least try to take down the Reapers, and bring the Sternguard in Turn 2 to make his Wraithlord's T8 useless. Or drop them into his back ruins (almost always present) and destroy Eldar from afar with Kraken Bolts, which work wonders against Dire Avengers.

And you should do well. Make sure you have the tools do deal with his serpents though.

I encourage the Ironclad in Drop Pod approach. Take two Heavy Flamers and Deathwind Launcher on the Drop Pod and come in turn 1. Position your Ironclad well so no one can easily shoot Rear Armor (including a scattered DWL). Each HF should get minimum 5 hits, total of 3-4 dead Reapers on average. DWL should be able to force a similar drop in number (7th allows firing turn it enters). That should take the wind out of the squad and force him to divert attention away from your troops.

Reapers have 3+ saves and I doubt you'll hit more than 3 reapers with 1 flamer. If the Eldar player knows you have drop pods then he'll bubble wrap the Reapers or spread them out.

He doesnt bubble wrap the reapers, he just keeps them on higher ground, or just knows Ninjak cant kill them lol

I do love my Ironclad Drop, but I am always wary of bringing anything over 12 armor against all those Bright Lances.

I'll try the Tac Turn 1, and Sternguard Turn 2 and see how that goes. Or I'll just hope that I roll Invisibility early with Tigurius so I can go for Perfect Timing on my Devastators or something...

I have never fired a Flamer that didn't hit minimum 4 infantry. By the odds, that is at least 1 dead Reaper per HF. A 10 man squad spread out to only allow 3 hits on one flamer is taking a LOT of board space. YMMV, but that is an unrealistic scenario.
