The Blightkings are looking suitably awesome/disgusting.

Hey guys,

Here is what I'm working on:

They need a wash and retouching on the jugger, then hit the details and the jugger is done

I did a quick count of everything I have painting, and it comes to a little over 1k points. I've eyeballed another 1k points of chaos to paint, and I'm looking to do them in just over a month or so.
So look forward to me cranking out models pretty quickly.

Hey guys,

It's been a long journey with these guys. Started the first way back at the start of December. And somewhere between finishing the other two, I forgot what reds I used. So a slight discrepency in the shades of red...

Time to finish the Blightkings now

Not enough blood!

I might just be the light, but they look a little flat. Do you have any close ups?

Totally forgot to take a picture of the Blightkings when I had the camera out... They're going to have to wait until I have the camera out again...
I like this model. It has a solid sence of bad-assery and towers over rank and file (twice the height!)
In terms of painting him, I've got quite a bit to do. The base is almost finished, I just want to paint the rim again as I can see in the picture some of the drybrush spilled onto the rim. The hair, green and flesh are only basecoated and washed. They'll be getting their next layers pretty soon.

You're probably aware that GW has started to release the ET: V stuff (Khorne!). I was looking at the new Bloodthirster model, and I dont think it's that great... It looks cluttered and almost too big. I'll wait until I see it in person before I judge it anymore. The pictures on GW's website aren't the best, and their zoom thing is terrible. Will I get it? Hard to say... I'd probably get Glottkin first. But some daemons are on the cards for my army...

He looks good!

Personally, I think the new Bloodthirster is one of their best big models in a while, I certainly prefer it to Glottkin (but then I've never been a huge Nurgle fan). Do I recall you saying your Demons will be 40k-WFB swappable?
