And for smething else, looking at the kickstarter itself this time I am having a hard time understanding the reasoning there, why is something that is such an oddlot "fantasy football" with probably low demant your first goal, and the big ticket sellers like steampunk, and orks are later on?
Simply because nobody asked for Orcs but we got a request or two about fantasy football. I'm not saying fantasy football is more popular than Orcs, but maybe Orc players are happy with the miniature ranges already available.
You're maybe right but we don't have enough feedback to do statistics. I can only hope it will change in the future so we can start polls and have hundred of answers.

Also I suggest that your highest pledge won't be restricted to a weapon, but allow a custom helmet too-I suspect that unique by-deman helmets would sell better than weapons-as in many models the gun is secondary, but the helmet is a defining feature.
(maybe even having a "custom part" as a separate sell that one can buy multiple off if he really wants something special for himself that requires multiple custom parts)
Maybe, are they other people who think that?

Question: The items currently available on the Beta page. they are a taste of what is to come, right? Because I feel there should be more boots, gloves, hair styles, backpacks, etc... I am presuming that more styles will be added for the finished version?
And there could be more weapons too... the pistols are kinda limited, and there could be more shields and sword sizes too... Right now its long sword or 2-handed. Maybe add a bastard sword and a short one? A short axe, viking style, maybe medium round shields... simpler SF close combat weapons, and powerfists!
Happy with the beards, though... Great beard selection
And if I can be so bold as to give some advice... Bases are kinda pointless... there are a million companies making bases out there. Stick to more styles and poses
I will side with the guys criticizing the voice on the video, though. Bad Schwarzenegger impression

For the stretch goals, we only put 2 things that weren't requested: The mechas, to prove that we can do things the size of a dreadnought/heavy warjack, and the orcs, because they are so ubiquitous. Every other stretch goal has been requested, usually more than once. I wasn't very fond of bases either but people asked for them and we try our best to listen.
Oh, and update!
We will launch the kickstarter campaign December the 18th at 18:00 GMT.
Now you have a bigger image on thumbnail mouseover
The building of the model is slightly faster
But more importantly, we added Drop Dead Daisy! She took us time but she deserved it, look at how cute she is!

Pretty nifty. I like that you can customize panels. Will there be a generic sleek look as well for the less gothically inclined?

For Drop Dead Daisy there is only one torso, with opened or closed cockpit, and the only way to get it is through a high enough pledge, that's the “kickstarter exclusive”.
If we reach the “mechas” stretch goal we will create a new body type for mechas, based on Daisy (she's a prototype). We will add new torsos, new poses, new weapons. If the new body type and Daisy are close enough (which is likely) they will be able to switch weapons. I don't know what would be done then but I guess we will create some options with a more “manga” look.

THATS dead drop daisy!?
Holy hell I thought it sounded like some silly pin-up style model, but this is freaking amazing! and its even customizable!
God if the strech-goal "mech" body type is anything like this you are going to make a fortune.

Well, good luck folks, and congratulations, it appears that your large offers are selling quickly (4 of the largest kit at this time and not even a day passed!)
(Plus, the new voice is MUCH better)
Currently I have no intention to jump in (lack of fund), but I made sure to let my entire local community know, so if you get a bunch of orders from Israel that's my job.
Or maybe I should just start a SoB army....always wanted to.
But one thing I noted after playing more with the demo on the site, woman "bottoms" have an issue. most leg pieces (I think all but I might missed one) looks as if they are wearing some off G-string. they need some work on the pelvis zone.

Yep, we did in purpose, it was meant to be a surprise. *surprise!*
We got several complains so we killed the previous guy and buried his corpse in the desert, he won't annoy you anymore. Too bad, I kinda liked him...

There is a line where 2 elements are next to each other, here the thighs and the pelvis. It doesn't exist on the printed model, it just how the light is calculated in the images. We know it's annoying but we are not sure we can fix it.

Thank you very much

Drop Dead Daisy looks awesome... what size is that base? She looks to stand roughly the size of a GW Dreadnought, maybe a bit bigger?

For the size of Daisy, she should be almost 77mm tall. It's a little more than a dreadnought, she should had the same size but we were a little enthusiastic. Plus we gave her real real legs (what's wrong with the dreadnought's legs anyway? They look like Bob in "Oggy and the cockroaches" ).
For the base, she'll fit on a 60 mm base. Maybe it will look a little small for her but she'll fit.

We usually don't do update on the servers so quickly after a previous one but since everybody seem to want one, hey! Update \o/
We added 4 bot heads, 2 for male 2 for female.
A flexible backpack for both models
An electro-truncheon/lightsword for both models
+ an “anatomically correct” pelvis for male (no image for that one).
We also added the snipe rifle for the female model, it was forgotten for some reason.
Beside new objects we are also working on new poses, for dual wielded pistols in particular since it was drawn to our attention it was lacking.
We put some more photos of the printed models, painted or not with a better definition. I hope it will reassure everyone on the quality of the printing and on the “paintability” of the material.
We also put the “mechas” strech goal as first stretch goal and the “steampunk” as second, since this is what people request the most. The others (fantasy football, orcs and bases) will come later.
Furthermore, we will close the early birds Monday the 5th January. Originally they should have been fewer with a better discount but we received complaints right before the start of the kickstarter, saying the early birds should not have a such discount but have a larger limit, we listen to those advices and now there are too many of them left (listening to people is not always a good idea after all), so I repeat, we will close the early birds Monday the 5th January.

Your webpage is really cool, and I love the concept (plus that you are embracing 3D modelling so fantastically) but that website is so slow, I actually had to give up mid way through making a trooper. That being said, damn was it a good looking program/execution of ideas, just need a faster way! Automatically Appended Next Post: Nevermind, read your KS page and it expressly identified that as an issue, my bad haha

Well, it didn't turned out the way we hoped...
The kickstarter campaign didn't reach its goal. From the comments and feedback we got it seems there is no major flaw in the project, in fact it's a pretty good idea but it failed because of many little things (Christmas, we didn't give enough thoughts to the rewards and stretch goals, bad communication or at least bad advertisement...)
We will see what are exactly those issues and how we will tackle them to relaunch a campaign.
Anyway, we would like to thank everyone for their supports and their comments, they were really appreciated and it helps us to continue. If you want to be noticed when we start again you can subscribe to our mailing list : http://createyourminis.com/client/subscribe/
There is also our facebook page: http://facebook.com/createyourminis

In case you were not following, the kickstarter failed. the site is just a demo version of what it SHOULD have been.
They did say they plan to make adjustments and try again at a later point though.
