Oh, are you talking about those pre-painted D&D dragons? I kinda liked those. Would have picked up the red one, maybe two if I had any idea they'd be selling for that much, lol.

It sounded to me like you were criticizing people for dropping so much money on a model they couldn't really use in a game. It may not be very practical but not everything has to be, sometimes it's just cool to have big dragons and stuff.

i dont get this whole wyvern thing, you have been playing too much warhammer and d&d,
tolkien depicted smaug that way in his own drawings, refered to smaug as a great wyrm and differentiated little between dragons and wyverns, the father dragon glaurung had no wings, he wasnt taking off medieval dragons, he dragons the way he saw they should be and in all natural history no animal other than insects flies with more than 4 limbs.
though in the end, its fantasy who gives a ****, you can do whatever you want, i think smaug looks beutifull

Tolkien in fact did not depict Smaug in a "wyvern-like" way. The dragon is portrayed in Tolkien's own artwork as having four limbs and wings on its back.

Am I clear in understanding that our concept of a "wyvern" has four limbs with the flying membrane stretched between the forelimbs and the thorax of the subject?

Technically speaking, as far as you can technically speak on this subject, a venomous tail stinger too.

So, ah... Did anyone take up this negotiated deal?

I'm sooo, sooo sorry.
