On moon miranda.

Tac's have bolt pistols in addition to bolters. They just don't have BP/CCW.

Most heavy weapons are relatively reasonably priced, Lascannons are nearly half the price they were just a couple of editions ago. They also have Combat Squads which allow them some degree of split-fire capability.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Ah yes, i'd forgotten that bolt pistols come standard now. Dev's get that too?

Relatively reasonably priced is a bit of a conditional there. I know tacs get cheaper versions of the heavy weapons, but i was thinking of how they'd relate after 'fixing' to the devastator costs (which have similar problems in relation to taking 'flexible' weapon choices). But combat squads - thats not a fix at all. It doesn't matter which combat squad you put the las cannon and/or plasma cannon in, they're still going to block bolters from firing. The problem isn't the squads themselves, its the core rules. Tactical squads worked better in 2nd when the rules supported them.
