If we just think about everything we know it doesn't make much sense since it would basically mean that we would believe that it went something like this:

"Hey traffic control, bad storm ahead, can we go around it?"
"Sorry, too much traffic."
"Okay...I'M KILLING EVERYONE PRAISE TO ALLAH"

Clearly you haven't had to deal with ATC and their many ways of making life difficult for pilots. Maybe this was just one ignored request too many and the poor pilot finally snapped and decided to end it all?

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.
