True, though upgrading the mega bolter would mean that upgrade would cost extra points. Therefore the Nephilim if it gets a point reduction will be rised closer to its cost now meaning it would need a little something extra.

Personally I love the Darktalon, Though I have had the worst luck with it and 7th has nearly crippled it.
I would like to see it able upgrade the Hurricane Bolters to the Missiles or something.
Though Parking it over a Dakka Banner and a PFG can really help.

For the nephelim jet fighter, I did change the missiles so STR 8 and decreased its cost.

For terminators, I changed to so they come at 35 points each with lightning claws (since it is their worst gear).
Then they can upgrade powerfist and storm bolter (stormbolters are salvo 2/4).
They can also upgrade to thunderhammer and storm shield ending up at their original cost.

I also considering making terminators and ravenwing troop choices and get rid of the dependency on named characters (which are not always allowed in tournaments) to build a good terminator/bike list.

Uh, no. The Mega Bolter would be upgraded without an increase in points. Even if it used the Fire Raptor Mega Bolter, it would still be overpriced.

Oh, I think I get where you were going with that now. I think if they could purchase the Stormstrike Missiles for a few points it wouldn't be too overpowered. If it had the AMB and Stormstrike Missiles, having it come in at around 180 pts seems like it wouldn't be too crazy. A Stormraven has better armaments, armor, and a transport capacity and would cost twenty points more base.
