Since I have about a 70% chance to forget to roll for a warlord trait unless my opponent reminds me, followed by another 70% chance of forgetting to use it after I've rolled, I'd say: No... no change at all.

You forgot about the 70% chance that it would be useless, even if you remembered to roll and use it.

I was more annoyed in 6th when I was locked into highest leadership and was using Typhus a lot. Lord of Terror locked in on him giving him fear..

Now it's not so bad being able to choose a random. I primarily play Daemons now, however, and having Kairos on hand for a locked in Lord of Unreality. If I'm rolling for a generic HQ's trait, having that re-roll from CAD is extremely handy.

Quick answer going from 5 to 6? Not much change. I see it as more of a random bonus usually.

... I'm obviously used to random bonuses.
