Hello everyone!
I apologise for the wait on this update, prep for exams is a bit heavy at the moment, but I'm determined to keep things moving!
So, I have two terminators to show off today, both featuring a test power weapon effect, which I certainly enjoyed doing and think looks alright, but I'd be very interested in hearing any feedback!
Onto the pictures!
So, here are the two of them. One has some razor wire on the base, which I would highly recommend, it works really well, especially on the larger bases.
Some shots of the 'grunt', if you can call them that
Dear lord there's a horrible mold line on that helmet, I thought I'd got rid of that! Bah!
Not so clear in this picture, but the bayonet is glazed blue, just so it looks a little meaner
Finally, a shot of the eyes, which I'd like to think I'm getting better at, but it's always good to have some external comments
And onto the heavy flamer, who will hopefully come in handy with dealing with anti-terminator infantry blobs
Shot of the maul, which I think is probably the worse of the two power weapon effects, but it's still very clear what it is
Now, I think this guy's helmet is really cool, with the rhino-like horns, but it does divide it a little, hence why I couldn't really take a good picture of both eyes here.
That's all for now folks, thanks for having a read, any comments and criticisms will be deeply appreciated!
I hope to bring you some more termis soon!

Hello again!
Wow, been a while since an update, my bad, been otherwise preoccupied by exams and infinity. Anyways, enough excuses, I have some finished and WiP shots to share!
So, firstly, a finished terminator grunt, with a powerfist and one of two combi-meltas in the squad:
And some shots with his friends so far :3
So, PiP now of Lord Gorbadax. I'm really pleased with him so far, but I'd love to have some feedback/suggestions on where I could go with him!
Lore-wise I'm think these wings are either a mutation (what Pirate Lord wouldn't want wings?!), or they were ripped from a challenger and attached to his own armour, still a bit undecided there
Now, onto WiP of my new obliterator. I had mixed feelings about the old one, I quite liked aspects of it, but the paint didn't do it for me, being over an already painted mini, and he looked far too cumbersome IMHO, so I've tried my hand again at Tathregar bringer of joy and fun, so do let me know what you guys think/if you prefer one over the other
Thought I'd try something a bit fun, so Tathregar 2.0 has a mouth-gun, from a DE warrior
Thanks for having a look, I'll be back with some more updates soon!

I should really set up a macro for late updates now
Anyways, exams are now all finished, and I have a vast amount of time and a similarly large number of miniatures to paint, so this time might be the time I actually get regular updates in order.
The astute among you (which is all of you of course), may have noticed infinity are now involved in this blog; I've been playing for a while and thought I'd share my current project with it, and would highly recommend it as a game if you haven't played it!
So, onto the updates for CSM, which has been slow on accounts of waiting for the drop-pod/dreadclaw to arrive from a certain miniatures provider, which is currently no-where to be seen, so I'm still crusading on with the terminators. The camera AND my independent light seem to have gone AWOL, so I'm down to a phone and some limited lights, so I apologise for the shoddy photography.
And now an upcoming terminator, first axe termintor of two if I remember correctly
And onto the ALEPH; robot people for those of you unfamiliar with infinity
Nagas; infiltrators armed with monofilament mines and a hacker
Devas with Devabots; twinned/shared consciousness units that act together with their flamethrower armed bots
Myrmidons; ALEPH's shock troopers/stabby-stabby specialists with smoke grenades. Always fun.
Agema sniper and Teucer; Sniper with a multispectral visor, to deal with any sneakies out and about, and Teucer, who is a character sniper wielding the equivalent of an autocannon (unlike the Infinity autocannon, which is insane)
And a Netrod; Essentially a dropped, immobile stick that gives the army more flexibility/generates an order
This isn't my conversion idea, I'd seen this on another forum, the name of which unfortunately eludes me, but it's a really easy way to make netrods
Some WiP shots of Machaon, the last member of the ALEPH force, and my lieutenant, unless you play against me, in which case he is NOT my lieutenant
Well, thank you for giving this monster of a post a read, any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
I hope I can deliver better images next time!

Changing Our Legion's Name

Been a little while since posting on here, and in that time, several things have changed with regards to my projects and time constraints. Progress is going to be slow between new kits, but I hope to keep you all posted with work.
Progress report:
- The Claws are continuing strong with a dreadclaw added and aiming to get a rapier up and running in the next month or so. Only the tanks to go now!
- ALEPH are done! Had a few fun games with them, really enjoying playing them, and I'll aim to post some completed photos and action shots up here.
- Having joined a new area, where HH is really big, and the upcoming boxed game being released in a few weeks, I have begun what will hopefully be a project I can run alongside my Claws, so I'll be sharing some photos of my Vlka Fenryka so far very soon!
Thanks to those of you who have been keeping up with my work, I really appreciate it!

Very short update here I'm afraid!
Got my Space Wolves sprayed, so I can start sharing them with you. I'll make sure to keep posting the Claws of Lorek as I finish them too/wade through the tide of terminators
This is the first Vlka Fenryka Tactical, and has been a test for both the glowing eyes and the chipped paint; I'd be very pleased to hear what you all think!
Still WiP, I'll post another when he's finished, maybe with a friend of the chaos persuasion too.
Thanks!

Changing Our Legion's Name

Hello again, update time!
So, I promised there would be an update with both of the factions I'm currently working on, and while it may have taken a little while, there are signs of progress!
Without further ado, I'll start with the Claws of Lorek
So, here's some reinforcements for the Claws, featuring 3 terminators on the left which I'm still bashing away at, and two new-fangled kit-bashed obliterators, built mostly from possessed and various sentinel guns.
Still eagerly awaiting any kind of paint is a dreadclaw for carrying some berserkers. Thinking of what I'm going to do with the stripes, probably across the door panels, put any other, cooler, snazzier ideas would be deeply appreciated!
And secondly, the fledgling Vlka Fenryka
The beaky I previously posted a WiP of has been finished, his head attached and all, and now has some friends too
In the form of a pair of chain-wolves.
These three have been a test of various new things, including new base styles, new eye/lens painting technique, the weathering, and in the case of the second chain-wolf, sculpting a Mk3 (Maybe Mk2) helmet. As such, I'd be very happy to hear what you think, and how I could improve upon it!
Thanks for reading, hopefully some more of everything next update!

Whew, long time no see! Been chipping away at my Vlka Fenryka and CoL, which have had progress as you may see in the back of these photos. They also have a dreadclaw ready to paint but it's not at uni. Thought it'd be worth changing the title so that it's clear the wolves are the current focus, but I'll make sure to share the obliterators when they're finished for the Claws.
Taken my sweet time with this batch of wolves, but I have now finished half of tactical squad 1.
Before sharing them, just thought I'd give a heads up of what's to come:
- Another 10 marines for Squad Bloodfang (with the red markings)
- Squad Whitemaw (white markings, 20 strong)
- Hunt-squad Baelfar (10 strong, with rhino)
- Cataphractii, who'll be individually named
- Centurion Bjornjulfar, in cataphractii plate
- Contemptor, who needs a name
- Javelin, which also needs a name
And to be added at a later date
- Drop pod for contemptor
- Second Javelin
So, now that the boring is out of the way, I'll share some photos! I apologise for the meh quality, but I've only got my phone camera at uni.
Somewhat fuzzy shot of the whole squad, but you get the idea
Vexilla, which I hope is still a part of the wolves when they get 30k'd, if not, I'll be sad
And some close ups of the other wolves:
Thanks for reading and bearing with me, hopefully get some more up soon!

Hello again!
Small update this time, which I think may end up better instead of uploading when big chunks of stuff are finished. Wanted to share how things are going with the cataphractii
Haven't sculpted fur before, so this is promising that it looks alright with paint, as I have a fair amount of sculpted fur on things.
With regards to his black shoulder pad, I'm thinking of painting some sort of pack markings on it; his right shoulder already has some personal heraldry on, as does his knee. Currently thinking red and black dags with white celtic knotwork as an emblem, which may prove challenging to replicate, but hey ho, challenges are fun.
Any other more awesome suggestions would be happily appreciated!
Thanks for reading, and let me know if you'd prefer frequent, small updates or larger, heftier updates (with better photos than last time *shame*)

Hello again!
Usual disclaimer and apologies for the awful camera quality, my poor phone is currently all I've got to rely on at uni, so sorry!
Froljak Runeclaw is now done! He has a different gun to that he had last time, couldn't get over the weird ammo port on the side of the plasma combi element, so now he has a different combi weapon.
Shot of the knotwork and battle damage, which was a tad challenging, but rewarding and I feel it looks alright; we'll see if I can muster doing it on all my wolf guard members
Shot of the lightning claw, which was great fun, found that a metallic base with the lightning effect over the top is my favourite effect; changes with angles, like a shiny pokemon card!
That's all for now! CnC would be deeply appreciated! Back soon with some more tacticals!
