Still chugging away at the Land Speeder, done the craft itself just need the crew and second weapon to finish up now...

Decided to just do the cokpit first as planned to connect up weapon ect ASAP...

Pretty happy with the cockpit...

Happy with how she is coming out...

Not 100% overjoyed about the Ravens on this one if im honest...

Also feeling i have become a little to dependent on edge highlights to do black...

That rhino is just really catching my eye. I love the paintjob on it.

Well done!

Thanks man, apart from the red highlights im really happy with the Rhino. Im constantly debating with myself about weathering tho, i wonder if its even realistic at all on any Space Marine item. Is it really going to be paint on metal and not some sort of super high tech colored ceramics? Also even if it was paint over metal they worship the vehicles and armor they use as holy relics, hell the Land Raiders are part alive and get stroppy if they aint maintained.

Think in future ill save the weathering for Orks!

Finally got the Land Speeder finished, think gonna get some of my Malifaux Gremlins painted quickly next so that i actually have something to play with while i finish the Space Marine army.

Pretty happy with it, needs a varnish and its good to go.

For anyone out there that might actually care ill be taking a break from restoring the Space Marines in order to get something less ambitious playable. I have started a second blog Here detailing my exciting adventure in the world of Malifaux!

I most defiantly will be back painting Space Marines, i just want to get something actually playable and table ready before i dive back in.

As long as you are keeping your brushes moist that's what counts.

Thats the plan, helps to not burn yourself out to vary what your painting a bit aswell. The endless line of black armored dudes while cool when done gets depressing after a while , mixing in some Gremlins will help keep me motivated.
