...I am gladly surprised that you are in the Chicago Skirmish Wargames, is this a club you guys own/have? Where is it? You can PM me about it if you want...

Cheers Admiral!
I'm the organizer for Chicago Skrmish Wargames. It's a group that meets every other Thursday evening, mostly in member's homes in Chicago. You can see what we're up to in the blog link in my sig. The blog description has a link to the mailing list that we use to keep in touch.

We've been meeting for almost 5 years and mostly play indie fantasy and Sci-Fi minis games.

Any listing of the Swag Bag contents so we can regret missing adepticon even more?

-P

Was saving this for the Blog post, but since you asked, mine was a "full swag bag" and had:
-Adepticon female (elf?) mage
-Ltd. Ed. Victoria minis female officer
-Hordes or Warmachine (seemed to differ depending from bag to bag) starter army box. I got Cygnar.
-Mars Attacks alien with plastic bubble helmet
-Coupon for free Aetherium mini at the booth (mini pictured)
-One Reaper paint
-sprue with 2 Robotech Veritechs on it
-Issue of Wargames illustrated.
-A bunch of coupons for various percentages off of various dealers.

The pirate figure pictured was not part of the swag bag but was a freebie to those who participated in he "Fistful of Seamen" game.

The value of the "Full Swag Bag" was much more than the cost of a pass.

Yeah, and the VIG bags were even more insane. Basically 3-4 more regular figures, a DZC starter, and a Wrath of Kings starter. Value was huge this year.

They Shall Know Fear - Adepticon 40k TT Champion (2012 & 2013) & 40k TT Best Sport (2014), 40k TT Best Tactician (2015 & 2016)

I looked at Adepticon from 4 perspetives:
-First time attendee who isn't a player of the flagship Adepticon games
-Terrain-building addict
-First time Adepticon game master
-Bargain hunter

Yeah it was a hundred. That gets you the normal full bag, a t-shirt, a pint glass, 10 raffle tickets, and whatever exclusives they add just for the VIG's which this year was the DZC and Wrath of Kings starters and various extra models.

It tends to sell out very, very quickly though.

Sounds like a pretty good deal actually. I'll probably stick with the free GM admission and Full Swag Bag though.
