Theirs also a tyranid hive ship floating around in Commoragh, where ever the Haemies are, they just put it in some form of stasis to feth with it.
But here we go, this "theory" is all put together using real sources, Codex Harlequins, Valedor warzone Novel, Masque of Vyle, and the Path series.
Spoiler:
We know from the Harlies dex that The Veiled Path helped Vect rise to power, and that he owes them. How they helped is not told. We know that the veiled path has a history of influencing the galaxy in a serious way. They are the same group that convinced Lady Malys into the webway where she presumably and what is implied to be Cegorach himself, before she began being so weird, and the same group that convinced Yriel to pick up the spear and save Iyanden solidifying his role in the Harlequins dream of killing Slaanesh. In the path series we meet Motley, an awkward character who meets Vect, talks with him, then I haven't read the rest of the path series but Incubus.
In Masque of Vyle, Motley joins a group of Harlequins. This is the Veiled Path. We know because this is the same group that is used in the Valedor Novel. They appear as a great troupe, infact one of he largest troupes of harlequins. This is the novel Yriel picks up his spear, and comes out of the closet weirdly enough... In the novel the Harlequins go to the Dark Eldar, specifically Vect. Vect sends one of his own Archons. This Archon interacts with Yriel in an interesting way, Yriels father is unknown to him except for rumors that he's of the Dark Kin, implied his mother was into that, or was raped. But this Archon arrives making many references to him of his father, how he's just like him, and a few other little things that implies that he knows who his father is. Vect also sends his favorite commodety, Lileth Hesperax. The archon may have been sent on such a dangerous task, just so if he dies all will be fine, but Lelith? That's like guaranteeing yourself a victory. But why risk losing her? When Yriel questions farseers about his father, no one tells him, but the book implies they know, but aren't for sure.
The Dark Eldar codex says none in Commoragh mistreat a harlequin in fear of what will happen (assassination or worse) but explicately says, none but Vect. Vect tempts fate, and I believe this is why his Harlequin friends turned Malys, his ex girlfriend, against him. But why go to him for help on Valedor? Why not Malys herself? Or Vraesque Malidrach the second most powerful archon in Commoragh. Because Vect is important to Yriels story, I believe Vect is YRIELS DADD, why else would Yriel be a prince? Because Vect is a King, and his mother Nobility.
I believe Yriel is meant to lead the Eldar race along side his Father Vect. I don't know where Malys fits into all this, but I think it's clear that all these groups would not be linked the way they subtly are, unless they are true key components in Cegorachs master plan.

What is the endgame for the Dark Eldar?
Does Vect have a plan to free his people from their inevitable destruction by Slaanesh, or is he merely enjoying the ride to the end of the galaxy? Are there any other DE leaders that have an end game in mind?
DE are the Eldar of before the fall. To them, normal is ruling the galaxy, being unquestioned masters of all. The last 15,000 years have been a bit rough, but they think one day they will get it all back. This is their end game, and it has been since the fall.
That might have been true some time ago. But certainly not after the rise of Vect. The major ruling houses are all but gone now, with the the lowborn Vect having taken their places. Vect was a slave before he become archon. I cant see him giving a feth about the ancient Eldar's empire.

My own interpretation is that Khaine's Gate will break, spilling untold numbers of daemons into Commoraugh. This could end up destroying the city, potentially forcing the Dark Eldar either into more isolated parts of the webway, or into the hands of the Craftworld Eldar, potentially causing some sort of reconciliation between the two groups.

Damn, i need to get my hands on Valedor. I've read the rest of them but this theory is interesting and i'd like to read the source material myself. I've always wondered what Cegorarch's grand plan was, as surely he has one, but we have had very few clues. I just wonder how the Tau fit into this, it's heavily inferred it was Cegorarch who raised them from primates and created the Ethereals. I guess if we knew his game that would ruin half the fun.

I believe it's Xenology that has the Eldar creating the Tau's Ethereals. Which was probably Harlequins when you think about how they are resistant towards the warp.
BUT
Spoiler:
in the Harlequins Codex it actually tells us his grand scheme is to trick Slaanesh into resurrecting the Eldar gods, and then Yneadd will be born as well at the same time or something. The harlequins are said to be all readying themselves and who ever else they are fooling/ working with into position. It's all just about to happen. At the end of Valedor Iyanna Ireanal of Iyanden finds one more Tear of Isha, and needs only one more, thats being held by a Necron, to birth Yneadd.
As far as the Tau go, the Harlies codex has Harlequins hunting them and purposefully killing them because they just hate other Xenos. It seems that not all Harlequin masques are on the same page as far as everything goes. But its definitely clear that the Veiled path is the key component. probably along with the Solitaire Motley.
Perhaps they will need physical vessels for the gods to take? The Eldar gods where physical beings after all… Vect, Yriel, Malys, and who ever else may just be sacrifices as well...[spoiler]

ACTUALLY I just remembered that Cegorachs grand plan is to trick Slaanesh of course, and then have the Eldar retake the Galaxy when they have their gods back. but of course the Codex is much more in depth than I am, Codex Harlequins that is.

There is actually an entire planet of tyranids in orbit around Commoragh. It was stolen by by several Heamonculi Covens because they were bored, and they wanted a bunch of tyranids to play with. I don't think the tyranid shadow thing enters the webway.
Spoiler:
I don't think that the Harlequin codex says anything about resurrecting gods, I think that's a fan theory. It just states that Cegorach's ultimate jest will be to trick Slaanesh into expending all of her/his power into helping the eldar. It doesn't specify how.
The return of the eldar gods via possessing living eldar icons like Vect does sound kinda cool though. I doubt Vect would appreciate however

Subject: Re:What is the endgame for the Dark Eldar?
If you're only going to say a single sentence, please don't quote a giant quote wall.
Anyway on regards to the topic:
What's the end-game of drug abusers you might know IRL? They don't really have one. I don't think Dark Eldar do, too. If there was forethought into what their lifestyle would eventually mean for themselves, they'd have changed their ways. They are truly the most selfish race in the galaxy as they can't see beyond their own desires.
Which is kind of the point. 40k is, if nothing else, marked by extremes.
