Thanks for the comments guys. I didn't get anything. I don't know, just when I finally had all these goodies in front of me, I just couldn't get anything.

There was lots of X-wing minis I don't have finally on the shelf in front of me. A few Star Trek Attack Wing as well. Just didn't feel like it. Picked up the Armada box and it just didn't look $140 worth. While the capital ships look good, not awesome, or great but good, but seeing how the fighters look like crap for a $140 price tag I put it down.

I picked up the Robotech box and was thinking on how some members said it was hard to model them so put them down. I guess reading how some boxes had broken sprue bits and the Customer Care is hard to get hold of, turned me off on it.

So I got nothing. Still doing more research on it.

As for the Dropzone Commander comment. I already got it. Trying to put those minis together but being so small, I am having a hard time putting them together, that DzC for me is on hold for a bit.

Just want to say thank you to everyone.

As of right now, my opinions on what I want is

No Skitarii now. After doing my research and reading some fluff on them, they don't appeal to me fluff wise. Great minis, but don't want to play humans who give up their flesh to become machines.

Star Wars Armada. Having a hard time buying it. The box set just doesn't seem worth it to me. Being Canadian, maybe that is why the prices are higher but it doesn't seem worth $140 Canadian for it. I hate, HATE that the fighters are not painted. To me, this makes Armada look cheap and not worth the price.

Robotech. Leary on buying and then putting it together. Some of the dakka members stuck in my head to be careful. So I put it down. After reading reviews, there is good and bad on it. So will wait.

Now that I have saved the money and not bought anything, my wife spent it. LOL.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

'Straya... Mate.

I saw the robotech box opened in my FLGS the other day. Gotta say. Just not impressed by the minis. Star Wars Armada is what I would be getting.

I ended up getting the Robotech RPG Tactics. I want my Battletech minis.

I just want to say again thank you to everyone for their comments. Now next is that Star Wars game. Forgot the name, but man it looks good and fun. Only reason I didn't pick it up is I already have Star Wars X-wing and Star Trek Assault Wing, didn't want another game with custom dice again.

But man some of the minis look great in that Star Wars game. I will need to get it now that I know my FLGS carries it now.
