That one is so AWESOME BADASS. If I still played 40k, I would definitely buy her as a Priest; Because badass.

Hola!

I'd just like to draw attention to my new page

http://thedicebaglady.net/female-miniatures/

It's a bit of a personal project that came about by being hacked off at having to trawl the web for cool female miniatures that weren't overtly sexualised or ridiculous, and then having to spend more on postage than the models in some cases, buying one from here, one from there.

My wife thanks you!

I want these two so badly. I feel as if the second one could be converted easily into a male figure too, or stay the way it is. Perfect for an Inquisitor.

Could also check out EM4Miniatures.
They have various female miniatures in their pre-painted and unpainted sections. Some quite unusual.

Here is a link to their 1920's section

Also like Copplestone's Female Troopers in the Future Wars range as Imperial Guard substitutes which I notice are not on your site.

You should also take a look at the Helldorado range. There are a good number of female models in there that fit what you are looking for.

Kirasu: Have we fallen so far that we are excited that GW is giving us the opportunity to spend 58$ for JUST the rules? Surprised it's not "Dataslate: Assault Phase"

AlexHolker: "The power loader is a forklift. The public doesn't complain about a forklift not having frontal armour protecting the crew compartment because the only enemy it is designed to face is the OHSA violation."

AlexHolker: "Allow me to put it this way: Paramount is Skynet, reboots are termination attempts, and your childhood is John Connor."

Good lord. When I have money for bought-as-new again, I think I'll start on my 50/50 project for my steel legion footsloggers. There's honestly no reason for even the silly 90/10 split Ciaphas mentions-- unless it's that the Navy snaps them up before the Guard and the Sororitas are bigger than the Space Marines. Arguably, given that women have about as much more endurance/pain resistance than men do upper body strength, carry loads longer and better if they have backpacks designed to distribute loads more to the hips, and slightly better hand-eye coordination (all of this -- including the supposed male overage in UBS-- is teeny when compared between people of both genders who actually train their whole lives for physical activities but...), any force that uses even WWII+ era guns and vehicles, let alone lasers and so forth, should have a slight bias towards women-- who are also slightly smaller on average, using less material and being able to fit into smaller places.

I mean, the person-heavy methods of the Imperium (both in "throw bodies at it" sense and in the fact that they can't have too much automation without resorting to biocomps) mean that men, as the expendable gender from an effort-to-reproduce POV would still be shifted towards more dangerous jobs because you can have less men impregnate more women than vice versa, but, the Imperial Guard, as I understand it, recruits from the cream (ie, surviving and better at not shooting themselves in the face) of the PDF crop other than on regimental formation, so I suspect that the numbers would ultimately balance out. /digression.

Anyway, those are AMAZING models up there, especially the Hasslefree.

The meow meow minis were pretty good. I have five of the pre-production batch from space-corsair.

I wonder if anybody has seen a mechanic looking female model. I'm thinking of doing an imperial citizen/support personnel project.

Whilst Bombshell Miniatures (as the name seems to suggest) primarily has kinda overly sexualized female miniatures, it also has a 'tribute' to a character from a certain 1927 film...

I love how oversexualized some of those Bombshell Babes are. Damn, I mean, I can see hands and the face, HOT DAYUM CHEESECAKES!

Ok, OT: I love both cheesecake and skin in miniatures but when you need a "serious" looking female miniature for a project of yours, it can really be hell to find something good. Thank you for the wonderful work!

I think I can add one more:

Damn great sculpting on the face but something about her body proportions bothers me. I think it is the legs. The upper leg/thighs seem longer than the lower leg/shins, and the knees look awkwardly placed. Perhaps its the costume throwing off the perspective.

The Dice Bag Lady has come to Dakka This makes me happy, I love your stuff.

Also love the idea of pooling all the cool female miniatures, I could do with some for some of my games.
