I'm not sure how they expect to keep that after having blown up the world...

There was a problem with the business problem, but this was the dumbest, laziest response to it.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

I'm not sure, and I'm not quite convinced that bubblehammer is the future.

But I do know one thing.

I'm hoping Mannfredd gets the most unpleasant of fates for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and handing Chaos a free win by being a big blubbering baby. :U

To the OP:

I don't think Franz/Sigmar is dead. I think (and i'm not alone here, heh) that he's the being that used to be a man with the spark of miracle. I also think Malekith survives or isn't eaten by the void. And if those two can make it, my money is on Archaon and Nagash making it.

I have nothing to back this up other than a hunch, but I don't think everything and everyone we know from the lore up to this point is gone. Most of ? absolutely. All of it ? i doubt it. I doubt they are starting with a completely fresh canvas.

Why do you think that Malekith survived? :S

The rest I agree, specially because I can't believe they made a new Nagash model, really EXPENSIVE and after some few months, he can't be used again in the new edition...

So, ye... I can see Sigmar and Archaon surviving... Nagash also, just because it's a new model... The rest, I'm having difficulty believing it :/

... just the way it's written. Remember, i said it's a hunch.

If you read the passages about Malekith being enveloped by the void, what happens to him is quite different to how they describe what happens to others. Malekith's void experience is more akin to amnesia than dissolution or oblivion. It's sparse, but it's there. I don't think they made him the true phoenix king simply to kill him off 4 months later, and i think the nebulous way that's written is softly toeing that line.

Do i think he's going to drop wave 1 of 9th Ed Bubble-Verse Elves ? Positively not. Do i think that Malekith the Eternity King is going to get spat out of the void at some point ready to rumble and feth some people up for Elvendom United. Bet your ass.

Just got happy with a rumor I read a few minutes ago from a good good source...

At the end of the End of Time novel, Sigmar sacrificed himself to change time...

So, before the real destruction, and with everyone knowing what was going to happen, players will intervene again to fight in the final moments.

I also read that Tyrion, Alarielle, Malekith, Settra, Nagash, Guiles, Aborash, Glott, Belakor and Archaon were alive or something like that... And Archaon is the new good guy!!!!

Now, let's wait to confirm these rumors

Interesting Rumor. I recommend liberally applying with NACL. Some of them in particular I find it very hard to believe stick around, but that's just me.

Agree... I really like to play with VC and I even just bought one Mortarch and built Mannfred but it was "almost" all on him for ending the world... Bah

It seems they blew the world up into bubbles.

This could mean Middenheim exists, but it's not in the Olde Empire, but in a pocket dimension on its own.
