Thankfully he did the Courtesy Flush.

In retrospect, that may have been what started all that...

Is ironic that the rock is in a movie about geology and tectonics?

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Only if he were the actual geologist/seismologist character... but then, I still think Nicole Kidman as a nuclear physicist takes the cake for Hollywood irony.

No, not even close!

That would be Denise Richards as Christmas Jones, nuclear physicist in THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

I saw The Rock and the words San Andreas and for one joyous moment hoped for a GTA movie. I am disappoint.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Wonder if there is going to be a twin movie.
Some disaster-movies in Hollywood comes in pairs like Armageddon/Deep Impact or Volcano/Dante's Peak.

I really hope not... It's going to take at least a week for my sides to stop hurting from the hilariously stupid "impossible tsunami" that could never actually happen.

I get that Hollywood wants to take everything and multiply it by 100x pure 'bigger than belief' because it's dramatic and looks a helluva lot better on screen than a factual take on a big disaster pic... but scenes like that are just plain bad.
(and yes, I'm still going to see this, simply because I'm a sucker for disaster porn! )
