There wasn't a "fight" with the Warboss on Ullanor. The Ork grabbed the Emperor with its power claw, Horus then cut the claw off. The Emperor then immediately turned around and used his sword to cleave the Warboss from shoulder to pelvis and instantly killed him with a psychic attack that would later be used on Horus.
