You know, I can't say I care much for your opinion Dorian. Mostly because you have the "OMG I'm right wtf!" complex going, along with a lack of any imagination. Someone already pointed out the answer, if you read closely (IE: read the thread) you'll be able to find it pretty easy.

As for your examples...YOUR headcannon doesn't make it right. There is no reason each group wouldn't have some sort of defensive wall, not every single battle is offense. The war may be offensive, but that doesn't mean the battle is. Nor does it mean they don't take cover behind one they found.

Exactly. Every army has the same chance to use something as a "counts-as" ADL and lascannon, which are at the same time not necessarily those exact items.

You're too stuck on a name. Have more fun.

There's a rumour Tau will get an aegis-like fortification in the new codex. But the lack of xenos terrain is sad

Ridiculous OP is ridiculous.

Carapace infestation.

Tyranid Bioform spread onto the planet via spores that begin as small Tyranid plant like protrusions on the surface of a planet. Unknown to most, it quickly develops a vast root system. In a matter of hours the hive mind directs it into a burst of accelerated growth to sprout chitinous plates up from the earth, burrowing through concrete, stone, and steal to act as defensive structures for the hordes of warrior organisms.

The creature is sometimes found developing specialized biomorph symbiotic life forms. A Bioplasmic cannon (Las cannon), a synaptic beacon (comm system), and hard as the toughest armor spikes (tanks traps) being a few examples.

There. Nids can use a ADL and it fits the fluff.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.
