I think mostly in words, but my thoughts are a lot like a flooded river, with images, words, or whole concepts rolling up from underneath unbidden, sometimes to drive me off course from whatever I was doing. (I have adult ADD, btw.)
How do I think ? I hear music. Everytime, everyday, there is music playing in my mind. You know that song that's stuck in your head and you can't turn it off ? I have it, always. The song is always different, but it's playing non-stop.
It makes life... difficult.

My thoughts are a monologue. I hear myself explaining my feelings, decisions and actions. Which means I have to talk through things in my head before I am happy with them. This causes problems during'discussions' with my wife, as I have to process first...
