Thanks guys.

For a bit of a break I have painted up some horses for my Cavalry. Hopefully tonight I can finish my "knights."

Excellent japanese there. They look pretty good despite the somewhat difficulty in making the wgf models look natural. I have seen some people build them without too much care and they look a tad bit too much like army men gone wrong! I guess thats why perry never got into plastic samurai.

Also pretty neat tank there. Don't see much of ww2 japanese here.

Cheers for the compliments.

Making these Samurai takes a loooooooong time with 9 pieces or MORE per model. I have also finished the mounted Samurai but have no pictures of them yet.

Im not far away from getting the Tank crew to finish the Diorama, I look forward to doing that as the Tank crew look stunning looking at the reviews.

Yea that is the problem with plastic historicals. They're a lot thinner than fantasy or sci fi stuff so they tend to be a lot more fragile and hard to hold. I guess thats why for some plastics they're more or less one piece. How people build though crazy detailed scale model kits is amazing.

Yea the more realistic style definitely adds to the difficulty. Usually in historicals I cannot hold my models by the weapons without fear of breaking them. At least wargaming historical models don't need tweezers though!

Or make every single wheel of a tank separate! Thank goodness game oriented companies like rubicon know that use wargamers don't care too much about that

Yea when I first saw them, I was like "ehh, oh look its the usual T34, M4, Panzer IV", but now that they're making some of the mid war stuff I'm pretty excited. Can't wait for those Crusaders.

Alright, I ran out of Spray Paint and so im stuck.

Getting back into Fire Storm Armada I spent last night painting these:
Spoiler:

Thats one Patrol Fleet and some Destroyers. I have a lot more ships to do along with Ground Forces. I originally painted them a green colour but I did not like it, so I am proud of the repaint. I will take pictures under better lighting at the club when I face my friend next week.

Here are the Samurai I finished (up close they look meh, from the table top they are striking).

Spoiler:

Anyway, until more Spray Paint comes I will have to work on 6mm Lizards and Firestorm Armada for a while.

Cheers mate, I hope to win best painted with the Samurai army(the army as a whole looks amazing from table top view, moreso than most massed model game models seem to be painted here) so any tips would be great. In a month or two there is a Mantic Sponsored Tournament in our town, gotta at least get one trophy/prize from it!
