Seeing as the fantasy option isn't called Warhammer Fantasy Battle anymore, if they did a complete relaunch of WH40K the "40,000" part might be dropped.

Driven away from WH40K by rules bloat and the expense of keeping up, now interested in smaller model count games and anything with nifty mechanics.

Jokes aside, I don't think they'll change 40k to be like Sigmar because it is doing so well. Unless Sigmar starts doing better than 40k (which is possible but I doubt it).
If it's a end times sorta deal I would expect like
Warhammer 40,000: Fallen Imperium
-Shattered Empire
-Galaxy in flames
-Shadows in the warp
