White Scars can Scout their Rhinos, as can Raptors.
Salamanders can get in close with Drop Pods for Flamers and Melta range.
IF can use Rhinos to protect their Devastators after they are done shooting.
Star Phantoms and Fire Hawks can TL their weapons from DS.

I'd argue that Rhino's are better in SW, since you can use them as a mobile line of sight blocker for your star TWC cavalry.
