Currently orks are one of the very few armies in the game not to get +1 leadership out of their serg equivalents. The others being daemons who don't care about morale and IG who have commissars. And of course DE have a few stinkers but those aren't an army wide thing at least and all buts grots are mitigated by serg type inclusions.
tldr Ld 7 is bs. Our primary ork player has finally accepted that its ok to house rule his army just a bit.. so were going with these for starters:

• Boss Nob, Boss Nob (Warkbiker) and Boss Meganob replace “Ld 7” with “Ld 8”.

Orks Wargear List
• Cybork body: replace “5 pts” with “10 pts.”

Appendix
• Mob Rule: Replace all instances of “D6” with D3”.

Orky Know-Wots
• Cybork Body: replace with “a model with a Cybork Body has a 5+ invulnerable saving throw.”

And some things were still debating on:

• Big Mek: Under mega armour options add “Shock Attack Gun…50 pts.”
• Nobz: add “Any model may take items from the Orky
Know-wots list.”
• Battlewagon: add “Invincible Behemoth.”
• Gorkanaut: replace “245 points” with “175 points” add “Invincible Behemoth.”.
• Morkanaut: replace “230 points” with “160 points” add “Invincible Behemoth.”.

Gubbinz and Gunz
• Tellyport Blasta: replace “Range 12” with “Range 18”.

• Gitfinda: add “Models with Relentless or Slow and Purposeful benefit from a Gitfinda even if they moved in the previous movement phase.”

Ork Vehicle Equipment
• Wreckin’ Ball: add “This shooting attack is always resolved at the vehicles unmodified Ballistic Skill, measured from any point on the vehicle.”

Anyway its been discussed to add access to cybork (the 5++) to meganobz but then they completely outshine nobz which I don't think any greenskin feels completely right about.

This is a great idea, and you should probably go ahead and start your own thread. As an Ork player I've almost come to the point of suggesting these changes to my friends as well, and if my friends and I got games in more frequently than we did, I probably would.

In terms of your specific rules, I think they're all great, except I think 10 points for Cybork Bodies is very high. I'd honestly keep it at 5 points.

I don't see anything wrong with letting a Mega Armour Big Mek take a Shokk Attack Gun. Sounds like fun!

Giving "Invincible Behemoth" to the Battlewagon, Gorkanaut and Morkanaut is actually a very interesting idea that I haven't seen anyone else come up with before, and I actually really like it. It's not likely to come into effect with the Battlewagon very OFTEN... but it will protect it from getting 1-Shot killed because it's Open Topped. The fact that Invincible Behemoth effectively prevents the Battlewagon from EVER exploding and thus harming its occupants is pretty strong. But I've always said Battlewagons are extremely overpriced transports at 110 points without any weapons on them whatsoever, so maybe that's worth it. As far as Mork/Gorkanauts are concerned I think they should have been SuperHeavies to begin with, so it makes perfect sense.

I also think the point cost adjustment you made for the Gork/Morkanaut is appropriate. I've always thought that there is no way they should cost over 180 points. 160 might be a tad generous for the Morkanaut but you're going to pay extra points for the KFF anyways.

The change to the Tellyporta Blasta makes it such that you might actually USE it, which is definitely a good thing.

The change to the Gitfinda and Wreckin Ball I also think are fine.

Are you shooting for enabling your Ork player to be able to have Nob Bikers with Gitfindas? That definitely turns Nob Bikers into a very SHOOTY unit, which I like.

In terms of Cybork Bodies, I would actually add a special rule to the Painboy:
Da Dok is in!: For each Painboy taken, he may choose a unit of Nobz, Flashgitz, or MegaNobz in his Detachment and upgrade all models in that unit with Cybork Bodies at an additional cost of 5 points per model.

Thanks glad you like it. Maybe I will do that at some point if anyone cares. I'd really like to see a community supported errata develop from someone at least.

On the choices we really just wanted to keep it extremely simple and avoid complete rewrites or wishlist type rules as much as possible. If a unit is broken beyond minor repair but isn't absolutely essential its left as a casualty. At least atm.

Mob rule was broken, might still be idk yet. No invuln is about as bad as no ap2 cc weapon option. Every 'main' HQ needs access to these whether they take them or not.

The rest is still development stage just felt like posting it although the mega armoured SAG mek we've actually been testing in games for months. Its really cool and pretty effective but nowhere near an auto include.

Ya bringing nobz and thus bikers back to relevant is the main reason. Left meganobz out simply because they would completely outshine other choices and they are already very functional.

I've played against various armies that utilized a similar rule in the past (maybe the same rule? from ia8 I believe). Coupled with FNP and the old Ard upgrade it made mobs very solid. Small steps though, these little tweaks change the dynamic quite a bit and some options are much better than in 4th now. Idk it may fall flat we'll see.

You wouldn't need to make a moral test unless you lost that many orks, so it is better. If you lost no orks, then you will take d6 hits on anything but a 1, so same result, you may just lose 1-2 boyz. Still pretty good. I brought up the speed bonus because it means less turns being shot. If they didn't lose boys they would be even more devastating on the charge than they are.

(Sorry for the off topic conversation, I stated my belief for the fix and will be ducking out now)

You used to reroll the test with a bosspole for 50% chance of success. Only time Mob rule is (statistically) better is if you lost combat by heaps and were under 10 models. Even then, the sheer unreliability of it with no mitigating advantage given makes it a terrible rule - if your army theme is "unreliable as hell" then at least let them be *more* powerful some of the time instead of always less.

Tellyport Blasta: replace “Range 12” with “Range 18”.

Noone else think this should like, teleport stuff, instead of just being another gun?

Agreed. I wish the Tellyporta had a longer range and would teleport stuff into melee range of the Big Mek and his Manz Body guard with all their PowerKlaws and Killysaws.

For what they are I see nothing wrong with at least a 6++ save for the same points.

I'd love to see some new guns for them, or a variant that prefers ranged combat, and then use the Meganob suits to counter the massive kickback that their guns produce.

It would be nice to get back our one and only form of REAL invul save.
