I really dislike the Cthulhu miniature, I love anything to do with the mythos but the miniature is really really bad. Glad it's an optional buy so I don't have to add it!

I don't mind the actual sculpt they have for Cthulhu and would be happy if they used it for something else, for me it just doesn't work as a sculpt for Cthulhu. Cthulhu should be big, imposing and mind destroying. One of the versions I really like is the McFarlane Cthulhu toy and it often sees my gaming table - A regular non-heroic scale human mini will generally have his head about the height of the join between his foot and leg. The Dagon sculpt on the other hand I really find lacking for the same reasons as I listed for Cthulhu but also because I just don't think it matches the quality of the other miniatures. It looks like it is half finished and was a rush job (and from all accounts it does seem to have been a rush job as they sculpted it in an evening due to changes to the stretch goals),

In the most recent X-terra update they made mention of their prior KS, and said to contact a r.lakomiak@titan-forge.com to help resolve any issues with them. I did so right away (last friday), and have yet to hear anything.
The theme of this KS doesn't really interest me, but the models look nice. And it's doing quite well so far.
Update!
Just wanted to pop in and say, that I did receive word from the email I had listed above, and after a few emails back in forth (I still had my metal beards survey handy thankfully), I am sitting here with a veritable army of metal beards!
I would urge anyone who has not received their items from Titan forge to please contact r.lakomiak@titan-forge.com and to explain your situation (I'd try to do it with as little anger as possible, if you can). I am very glad to finally have this particular kickstarter fulfilled, not only because it was a lot of money I spent on it, but because the sculpting, figures, and the whole damn concept are really great!
After hounding them for so long about this stuff, it's great to finally have it in my hands. Now if I can only get the stuff I'm owed from the avatars of war indegogo...
It definitely seems like contacting them while a new campaign is running is beneficial! I'm glad you got this sorted so quickly this month after the long wait. I got my Metal Beards right on time, but I had only ordered a few characters so that may have been a factor.
I am surprised how well this is doing given their past issues, but their sculpts are fantastic so I think that is the main reason! It also does seem like if you persist you will get things resolved eventually.

HP Lovecraft character is going to be added to the expansion box as the 235k stretch goal (along with some extra missions in the main box).

I'm very tempted to back this but I'm staying away from it based on the commentary on the manufacturers.
Pity though, the theme and sculpts look really fun.
Will wait for retail and see what the reviews are like but disappointed to miss out on the KS exclusives :(

How exclusive are exclusives if every campaign has an exclusive?
If this game goes well, I wouldn't be surprised if they will have another KS for a revised, standalone, or expansion set, and you can get the base game at a deep discount at the OLGS. I've noticed that, as project creators become better at managing crowdfunding projects, they're *still* able to offer stuff at discounts as good as their First Created project.
The Others, Cthulhu Wars, and BattleSystems: Post-Apocalypse will be coming in September. Plenty of ways to spend money on horror next month!

For the sake of being fair, I got my stuff from the X-terra kickstarter. So they DO fulfill campaigns.

I was very much on the fence with TF but, to be absolutely neutral I am posting pictures.

Relatedly, haven't gotten my X-Terra stuff and haven't heard back from multiple emails. So they're hitting their solid .5 average, it looks like.

Got my X-terra stuff (the second order, I already commented on the first). I am sad that I stopped following this, I see a lot of stuff that would be great for other things even if this game doesn't end up being very good. That said, those tiles look a lot like tiles we've seen for a few other games from completely different companies.. is there some kind of universal rules system these share? (Conan by Monolith and The Others by CMoN). Maybe I'm misremembering but it would be really cool if all of those tiles and systems and everything somehow had ways of working together.

Conan will be using full size boards, not tiles, but Zombicide uses tiles.

MLaw, can you pass those folks at TF a request to respond to, say, anyone on their kickstarter page, facebook page, or email? Since you already have your pledge they might not dodge you

I am still waiting to receive anything from X-Terra. I know they definitely aren't going in backer order to fulfill since I was #7.
Tiles are universal for making a game board and popular because of the modular ability for them. Traditional 4-fold board games means having the same game board every single game which can be repetitious. Games like D&D Board Game or Betrayal at House on the Hill get a randomized board which can produce different experiences, even if playing the same game. Tiles can also be easier to store, setup, as they won't tend to fray or fall apart from constantly folding and unfolding the board.
Update: I've been informed that my pledge shipped 10/16/2015 and they provided tracking. Tracking tends to be spotty for showing in the US, usually updated after I've received stuff. At least when I've ordered items shipped from Poland. Probably first couple weeks in Nov I should be seeing it, providing no complications.
