I'm 35 years old, I typically work 60+ hours a week in the film industry, and I have 2 young children and every other weekend I try to get a game of Warhammer Fantasy or 40k in with one of 7 friends and cousins that play as well.

I've got 5 games of AoS under my belt so far, all with my Night Goblin army, and I think I'm done.

We don't play competitively, no one has impossible to beat lists, most of our armies were built because we liked the fluff and models more than for their rules. Hell, some of us have been playing for the better part of 20 years and have seen our armies wax and wane in power levels throughout.

I don't want to discuss with my opponent how we're going to build our AoS lists to get a somewhat balanced game going, that's what points were always there for. I don't have the free time for that, my free time is valuable to me and I'd rather spend it playing. Points made it easy, this new system does not. I also don't like that my brother's army of Dwarves gets Sudden Death against my Night Gobbos simply because I run more models, its Goblins vs Dwarves so shouldn't I have more models?

As a group we'll probably go back to 7th or 8th and will have to come up with house rules for new models that we like, or find someone online that does so better. Hopefully it doesn't spell the end for Fantasy for us, I do so love my Bretonnians, my Chaos Warriors, and even my wicked little Night Goblins.
