Got a fine detail "jewlers" lens for my phone. I both love it because it can get such close detail, but hate it because it shows the low quality of my painting.

Bone: GW Screaming Skull highlights
Organics: GW Moot Green highlights, reglazed w/GW Nurgles Rot
Gold: x2 GW Brass Scorpion, wash GW Agraxx Earthshade, GW Auric Armor Gold highlights
Guns: Gunmetal 50/50 mis GW blue & black wash
Missile: x2 Reaper Olive Green, GW Beil-Tan Green wash, GW Aggrax Earthshade wash, GW Evil Suns Scarlet fins
Bioluminescence: x3 GW Drakenhoof Nightshade wash, GW Ice Blue highlights + White Scar for eyes
With various spot applications of washes and clean up highlights to enhance shading.

Ironclad Dread, Carnifex, Demon Prince, and bits from Chaos Spawn, Hive Tyrant, and Chaos Terminator.
The idea was to make it look like it could have evolved from an individual marine. Carnifex plates to mimic pauldrons etc. Not following you on the Slaanesh thing though?

The Gargoyle's sprues are great for marine sized weapons & wings. The conversion for the guns = simple.

At the point where I feel comfortable setting it on the shelf and moving on to another project. I'll probably do highlights, cleanup and touchups off and on. Eventually maybe even base it!
Paintjob itself is basically done though.

Annnd assembled. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.
Except for the whip, I think it looks like crap. Reaper Master Series paints have a really "chalky" look when they dry.
