I really hope they make Xindi a part of the indy faction and not their own faction btw. We have too many factions as it is, with many being malnourished little things like bajorans and ferengi.
Well I hate to disappoint you but check out the instructions for month 3. On the fleet build sheet it lists the Xindi faction between Kazon and Bajorans for initiative.

If you wanted to play attack Wing only using Enterprise era ships Vulcans are on top. Across all era's in Attack Wing they are mediocre.

Yeah Rune stonegrinder is right. Vulcans can hold their own in Ent-TOS pretty well. Tal'Kir is a beast when you are only throwing 2-4 attack dice at it. It is the 5+ attack ships that give them a hard time.

Gotcha. For the Enterprise era ships, we have the Vulcans, the Praetus, Shinyprise, ISS Avenger, the upcoming Xindi ships and the Kumari...
How many other ships were shown in Enterprise as Starfleet? I Know I'd like to see some Tellarites as well as a Klingon ship or two.

Well there is the USS Columbia for the Feds.
On Vulcans in the Ent-TOS era a Suurok with Combat Vessel Variant can be a tough ship.

So the Star Fleet ships in the Enterprise show were pretty much just the two...

I'm sure there are more but I'm not the biggest Ent fan. Those are just the two I remember.

I am just trying to figure out era-specific games...
Next Gen has ALOT of ships, since basically every ship from the Original series was still around.
The Original Series has some fun stuff, and you only eliminate the Borg and the Dominion as Factions...
But when you get down to the Enterprise Era... You have maybe a dozen ships TOTAL.

For Temporal Cold War, my group is kicking around the idea of this:
Era Only ships: 120 points, 20 points unlimited resources, 3 ship minimum
Non-Era ships: 90 points, 1 resource, 10 points, two ship minimum
Only 1 set of mines in your fleet, fighters don't count as a ship (they are non-era)
The basic idea is to force people to play with ships that they would not normally play with. It would be way too difficult to restrict upgrade cards and captains, so it's carte blanche with those.
The problem is, there are not that many ships from the Xindi War. In making a list, it's depressingly short. Plus, I don't want to alienate whole factions in the game (like Borg or Dominion). So instead of "you must play with these ships for an Era Only fleet", how about restricting the vessels some other way? Hull value seems OK, like no ship with a Hull value greater then 3 or 4, but there are a lot of ships with 4 hull and lots of firepower. Do I restrict it by points on a ship? Say, no ship with a cost greater then... what? 20? 25? 30? Or use Primary Attack Value? Is 4 too high? 3 too low?
How would you get people to use smaller, older ships in this OP?

That is really tough to pull off for a regular OP. My local TO held an all Ent-TOS tournament. That worked well but he have us a list of expansions we could use and we could only use upgrades from those expansions. It was fun, but given the special rules that go along with OPs it could be difficult to build fleets for them.

True, but there are many ships they've yet to touch upon. The two Orion ships would be very cool .
Tellarites.
Borg...

Oooh... I like the assimilated borg ships. They are pretty fun. Hate that some are strictly mirror universe though (Target Prime).
The Orions would be pretty fun. Independent I hope. I would also like to see the independents get something with som punch... most of their stuff is clever and cute, but can't win a straight up fight.
